Sick of privacy policies longer than an encyclopedia? Here at WTWN, we'll keep it short.

Your Email
We ask for your email to create an account you can manage and use across devices. That's it, other than if there's some important service change, we might email registered users. Optionally, you can sign up for the site's newsletter.
What we don't do with your email
- We're not selling it
- We're not trading it
- We're not bartering it
- We're not letting third parties use it for their own purposes
FYI: We use services (Resend, Google Workspace) to deliver email to you as necessary (account confirmations, newsletters if you signed-up, other communication) — standard practice for most sites. They can't use your email for their own purposes.
Your Personal Data
We store information that you create for yourself, like the TV shows and movies you add, what watchlists they're on, any notes or ratings you make. This and your email is your personal data.
What we don't do with your data
- We're not giving your data to third parties
- Not selling it
- Not trading it
- Not bartering it
- It stays with us
Data Retention
We keep your data as long as your account exists. Delete your account in settings and it all goes away.
Business Change
If WTWN is acquired, merged, sells its assets or is otherwise taken over as part of a business change, your data may transfer to the new owner. That's different from selling your data to third parties. We would likely notify you ahead of any change. Any new owner would be bound by this privacy policy or would be expected to notify you of changes.
Your Privacy Rights
Privacy laws vary by location. Whether GDPR, CCPA, or other regulations — if you have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, we support them.
Cookies
Essential Cookies (Required)
These keep you logged in or make guest mode work. The app doesn't function properly without them.
Analytics Cookies (Optional)
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. You control this with the toggle below. Turn it off and we don't track anything.
Feedback
When you submit feedback, it goes to our issue tracker (Linear) so we can review it efficiently. We also email ourselves a copy. We use your email for replies, not marketing. See also: Your Email, above.
Security
We have standard security systems to protect your email and data. If you're *really* worried about someone seeing your embarrassing guilty pleasure shows... there's always guest mode. But honestly, you probably don't need to worry.
